The Faculty of Agriculture proudly announces that Dr. (Mrs.) Subajiny Sivakanthan, Senior Lecturer, Department of Agricultural Chemistry, has earned distinguished recognition by receiving the Outstanding Doctoral Research Award – Gold Medal at the PGIA Annual Congress 2025.
This prestigious award, presented by the Board of Study in Food Science and Technology, Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture (PGIA), University of Peradeniya, acknowledges her exemplary doctoral research completed in 2024 and its significant contributions to the field of Food Science and Technology.
The award ceremony took place during the PGIA Annual Congress 2025, held on 21st November 2025 at the Diamond Jubilee Auditorium, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya.
