The Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna, successfully hosted its comprehensive Orientation Programme 2023/2024 for the newest cohort of students registered for the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Agriculture.
The programme officially began with an inaugural ceremony on October 17th, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. The ceremony, which featured in-person participants, was held at the Auditorium, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jaffna, Ariviyal Nagar, Kilinochchi.
The Orientation Programme is designed to introduce the new undergraduates to the academic environment, faculty staff, facilities, and expectations of the degree course, ensuring a smooth and successful transition to university life.
