eObjective: to encourage farmers to adopt SMART farming practices resulting in significantly improved farm income and alleviation of poverty.

PROGRESS
Harvesting Ceremony on 23.07.2025
First harvest ceremony was held on 23.07.2025 at beneficiary farmer Mr.M.Manoharan’s field at thiruvaiyaru, Kilinochchi at 9.00 am. Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Outreach committee members, JICA_PRECIDA experts, Assistant director research, Department of Agriculture , beneficiary farmers, farming community members, students of faculty of Agriculture, community members participated and celebrated the event very successfully. The entire program was coordinated by Dr.S.J.Arasakesary, Project Incharge.
